Wayne Black Obituary, Death- With great sadness, we must inform you of the demise of a dear friend and colleague, Mr. Wayne Black. Wayne peacefully passed away amidst his family and friends. His legacy is one of selflessness, generosity, and firm belief. Wayne Black worked for both Seaboard Coast Line and CSX, devoting 43 years of his life to the railroad industry. Everyone who knew him could see how dedicated he was to the railroad industry, and he took great pride in his profession.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wayne was well-regarded by his numerous friends, who became like family to him. His outgoing personality made him popular, and he treated his friends and family well. For those fortunate enough to call him a friend, Wayne was also a mentor and rock of support. Wayne’s devotion to God was a defining characteristic. His religious beliefs served as a beacon that helped him find peace and strength along the way. His participation in our museum as a member attests to his commitment to ensuring that the tales and legacies of railroad pioneers are not lost to time.
One of Wayne’s most enduring attributes was his readiness to provide a helpful hand. He was willing to help everybody and was happy to impart his knowledge whenever asked. His benevolence was boundless, and it will have lasting effects on many people. The loss of Mr. Wayne Black cannot be replaced. Those who were lucky enough to have known him will forever cherish his memory and mourn his passing. We grieve the passing of a brilliant man who provided joy and inspiration to all around him.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Wayne’s life and legacy. His loved ones are encouraged to attend to pay their respects and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly begs that donations be made to a Charitable Organization in Wayne’s name, a cause important to his heart. Wayne’s passing has left an enormous hole, but his memory will serve as a source of strength and wisdom for years to come. We will miss him dearly, but we will always carry his memory with us. I pray that he finds everlasting peace.
