Vincent McDonagh Obituary, Death – Tribute | Greater Manchester Police received complaints of an unconscious male on Abbey Hills Road, Oldham, around 11.55 pm on Thursday 9 November 2023. Officers found a man with a significant head injury. He died shortly after despite emergency services’ efforts.
Vincent McDonagh, 45, has been identified. Demi, Vincent’s girlfriend and fiancé, has praised him as an outstanding fiancé, caring father, and loyal family man. He was always friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much to ask. He adored his son and made sure he had everything. He enjoyed music, singing to me and his son, and frequently made jokes, making him the life of the party.
His Irish family of six brothers and seven sisters and his affection for his dad Barney were always on his mind. “We cannot believe someone would take him away—our lives are so empty without him. We miss him terribly and don’t know how to continue. We always said we loved each other to the moon and stars, but he won’t say it again.” Vincent’s family requests privacy during their grief.
