Shanno Childers Obituary, Death – I am at a loss for words to adequately express how gut-wrenchingly sad and shocked I am to have learned of the sudden passing of a close friend of mine whom I had known for many years. When it comes to this particular matter, I have no idea where to start.
Both of us have known each other for quite some time, going all the way back to our days in high school when we attended the same school and had the same friends. In later years, the common interest that our three daughters have in ice skating served to bring our family even closer together.
Together, we made a lot of memories and had a lot of laughs, some of which were at the expense of other people and some of which were at our own expense. Overall, though, we had a lot of fun. We went on trips together for activities like competitions and vacations at the beach. You were such a ray of brightness who never failed to provide the warmest hugs and delighted in it when other people held your hand.
Those of us who were fortunate enough to be able to call you a friend and spend time getting to know you were always able to sense your love, and as a direct result of this, we have all developed in our own unique ways. The lovely Shannon Lamoureux Childers, rather than bidding us farewell, I will tell you that I am looking forward to reuniting with you in the not-too-distant future and that I am excited about this prospect. Your friendship is something that we value very highly. Have a restful snooze, you beautiful sunshine.
