Sean’s GAA journey began in Killurin, where he represented the local team with immense pride and passion. Later, he became an integral part of Clodiagh Gaels from the very moment of our inception in 2015. Throughout his time with us, Sean emerged as a leading figure on GAA committees, tirelessly working to promote and preserve the spirit of our beloved games.

For anyone who knew Sean, it was a rare occurrence not to find him in the stands at a Clodiagh Gaels match, whether it was Hurling or Football. His dedication and unwavering support for the club were truly remarkable and inspiring to all of us.

Today, as we mourn the loss of a dedicated club member, we extend our deepest condolences to Sean’s family. His wife Liz, son Sean, and daughters Catherine, Eilish, and Claire, along with his brothers Pat Joe and Andrew, and sisters Kathleen, Phyllis, Pauline, and Dolores, have lost a beloved family member.
