Ronald Meeks Obituary, Death- Beloved husband, father, son, and friend Ronald “Ron” Wayne Meeks passed away in a car crash on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Tippah County. He was in his fifties. The Funeral Services for Ron will be placed at Unity Baptist Church on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 3 PM, with Bro. Ronnie Barefield and Bro. Lane Finley serving as officiant. Ron’s family and friends are invited to pay their respects to him at Unity Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until the start of the ceremony.
After the funeral, his final resting place will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Ron was born on January 8, 1973, to Peggy Rogers Meeks and the late Waymon Howell Meeks, who both hailed from Mississippi. He graduated from Falkner High School and has spent the past 32 years cultivating his business, Ron’s Auto Sales. Ron was a faithful follower of Christ and an involved member of Unity Baptist Church. He was well-liked for his kind nature and willingness to assist individuals in need at any time.
Ron loved his three children unconditionally and worked hard to provide for them. He was a loving spouse to his wife, Lesley Rowland Meeks, with whom he spent 26 beautiful years. Spending time with his loved ones was one of his favorite things to do. Everyone who knew Ron could attest to his undying enthusiasm for automobiles, and he was always on the lookout for a new career in the auto industry. He was a massive man with an even greater personality, earning him the nickname “life of the party.”
Anyone who had the good fortune to be in his company would have their spirits lifted by his infectious laughter. Ron’s family includes his wife, Lesley Rowland Meeks, their two kids, Brittany Coleman (Justin) and Bailey Meeks, their father, Brett Meeks, and their grandfather, Brayden Coleman. His mother, Peggy Rogers Meeks, one brother, Robert Meeks (Stephanie), and two nephews, Austin Meeks (Hannah) and Dalton Meeks (Haley), also mourn his passing. His father, Waymon Howell Meeks, has passed away already.
