The house will be open for friends and well-wishers to visit and offer condolences on Thursday, the 16th of November, from 2:00 pm onwards. On Saturday morning, the 18th of November, at 10:15 am, a somber procession will make its way from Robert’s home to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island. Here, a requiem mass will take place at 11:00 am, providing a moment for the community to come together in prayer and reflection, offering comfort to one another during this difficult time.

For those unable to attend in person, the requiem mass will be available for viewing on the YouTube channel of the Parish of Fahan. This virtual option allows friends and family, near and far, to participate in the ceremony and pay their respects to Robert from the comfort of their homes. Following the requiem mass, Robert will be laid to rest in the adjoining graveyard. This final act of farewell is a poignant moment for the community to say their last goodbyes and find closure. In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be designated family time from 11:00 pm to 11:00 am and on the morning of the funeral. This time is set aside for the family to grieve privately and support one another as they come to terms with their loss.

As a gesture of sympathy, the family kindly requests that only family flowers be sent.
