Marie McElroy Obituary, Death – Marie McElroy (nee O’Hanlon) McElroy (nee O’Hanlon) (Warrenpoint) will be laid to rest on November 15, 2023, and this notice is to inform you of the burial service. Her passing was peaceful and she was surrounded by her family when it occurred. Marie was a loving mother to Bernice, Paula, Jimmy, and Barry, and a cherished wife to Bernard (Barney), who passed away before she did. She was predeceased by her husband.
In the town of Warrenpoint, the address is 4 Drumsesk Place. Beloved mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, in addition to being the sister of Pat, Jim, Bernadette, Ann, and Rosaleen, as well as the late Louis, Michael, and Dessie, who all loved her very much. She was also a great-grandmother. I pray that God will give her soul the tranquility it so desperately needs.
The viewing for Marie’s remains will be held at her residence on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and then again on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Both viewings will be repeated once more on Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The removal will begin on Friday at 10 am, and upon arrival at St. Peter’s Church in Warrenpoint at 10.30 am for a Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv), the interment will subsequently take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery. The removal will take place on Friday.
