Margaret Sargent Obituary, Beloved Member Of Glenone Shirt Factory Has Peacefully Passed Away

Margaret Sargent Obituary, Death – The news of the passing of Margaret Mary Sargent (née Mc Cloy), who resided in Beechland Park, Clady, was received with sadness by POP this afternoon. Margaret was found and transported to Newtown Corner. She attended Greenlough school, which was located just behind her house but was located on the other side of the river Clady.

After finishing school, Margaret went on to work for a number of years in the Glenone shirt factory. She later married Patsy Sargent, and the couple settled in Clady, where they raised their children. Margaret would always give you a warm grin and a cordial greeting whenever you saw her, and she would never pass you by without first saying hi.

During this difficult time, I would want to extend my deepest condolences to her daughters Donna (Mullan) and Denise, her sons Patrick, Paul, and Declan, her sister Brigid, her brothers John and Felix, her grandchildren, her son-in-law Hugh, and the entire Sargent and McCloy family. When I think of Margaret, I also think of her late husband Patsy and her late sisters Kathleen, Eileen, and Anne. All of them passed away.

NOTICE TO FAMILIES On Thursday, November 2nd, at 8:00 p.m., the official start of Margaret Mary’s Wake will take place in her former residence. On November 4th, at 9.40 a.m., the remains of Margaret Mary will be removed from her former dwelling in preparation for the Requiem Mass that will take place at 10 a.m. in St. Oliver Plunkett’s Church in Clady. Immediately following the Mass, they will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery. I pray that Margaret will finally find rest.
