Joseph Portelli Death, Obituary – On a peaceful Friday, the 3rd of November 2023, we bid farewell to Joseph Portelli, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was aged 93 years and is now reunited with his late wife, Rita, in the comforting embrace of God.
Joseph was a cherished father to Paul and Norena, Mary, Georgina and Craig, and Michael, who, although departed, remains in our hearts. His role as a father-in-law and Nunnu was a source of great joy, with Kayla and David, Madison, Bethany, Tristan, Caitlyn, Caleb, and his great-grandchild, Willow, all holding a special place in his heart.
Joseph’s legacy extends beyond his immediate family, for he touched the lives of many dear friends, both here and in Malta. His warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
In remembrance of his devout faith, a Rosary will be recited at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:30am, preceding the Requiem Mass. The Mass, a solemn celebration of Joseph’s life and legacy, will take place at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Wednesday, the 15th of November 2023, at 11am. Following this, we will accompany Joseph to his final resting place at Lakeside Memorial Park, Kanahooka Road, Kanahooka.
