Jessica Scott Obituary, Death – Jessica Lea Scott passed away on October 28 in Traverse City. She was 50 years old and had been a resident of Mancela for her entire life. On July 21, 1973, in the city of Traverse City, Jessica was born to her parents, James L. Youmans and Alice E. (Horner) Watrous. Her parents welcomed her into the world. Jessica derived a great deal of satisfaction from tending to her gardens, most notably the rose gardens that she had designed and created, and from observing butterflies.
She took great pride in her artistic endeavors, her domesticated animals, her time spent near the lake, and her time spent kayaking. However, the time that Jessica was able to spend with her loved ones was the thing that she valued the most. Watrous of Bellaire; her siblings, Rebecca Buck of Traverse City, Jennifer Youmans of Mancelona, and Michael ( Her great-grandparents Thomas Youman Funeral Services will be held at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes on Thursday, November 2, at one o’clock in the afternoon. This date and time is subject to change.
The visitation will begin at eleven in the morning and continue until one in the afternoon, at which time the funeral service will get underway. Pastor Gary Bekkering is going to act as the master of ceremonies for the event. The burial will take place at Southern Cemetery after the funeral services have come to a close. At this time, the arrangements that need to be made are being taken care of by the Central Lake Chapel of the Mortensen Funeral Homes.
