Jennifer Garst Obituary, Death – The death of our friend Jennifer Garst breaks our hearts. Born November 11, 1963, Jennifer “Jen” Garst died November 1, 2023. Jennifer sponsored The Bridge Home for ten years. She generously donated $1.4 million to our cause. Jennifer helped over 36,000 Two Rivers residents find a new home.
Simply pondering such shows her empathy for the most vulnerable.
Her accomplishments were substantially greater. Jodi met a charming person at a planned giving seminar. After that conversation, Jennifer became a Bridge Home volunteer, unpaid employee, and board member. Above all, she became one of our best friends. She supported Jodi and our team in numerous ways and helped us earn money through large gifts.
Her smart, positive, and sound leadership advice helped Jodi. Jennifer had a huge impact on our communities and all of us who knew her. The Bridge Home’s clients, staff, and board members thank Jennifer for improving our lives and our clients’ lives now and in the future.
Jennifer, I hope to see you soon. River House Yard will host a Celebration of Life beneath a heated tent on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. A viewing will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, from 3–7 p.m. Jen’s birthday is November 11, so let’s party.
