Harold Glasscock Obituary, Death- We are devastated to share the news of the death of Harold Glasscock, a devoted family man and dear friend, who was killed in an automobile crash on Tuesday morning in Lake County. Age-wise, he was 72. As a lifelong resident of Vernon Township, Harold left an indelible mark on the hearts of many people with his genuine compassion and strong sense of duty. He was born in 1951 and spent his childhood in a close-knit neighborhood, where he formed the beliefs that would shape his entire life.

Tragically, lives were altered irrevocably on that Tuesday morning at 9:15 a.m., at the intersection of Russell Road and Park Lane. Harold’s Chevrolet was hit head-on by a pickup truck driven by another person who crossed the middle line. In spite of the best efforts of the emergency personnel, Harold Glasscock was pronounced dead at the site. Harold’s life exemplified the importance of perseverance, compassion, and hard work. He was a committed family man and a trustworthy friend to those who knew him.

What he leaves behind is a legacy of love, dedication, and numerous memories that will live on in the minds and hearts of those who knew and loved him. As a community leader and benefactor, Harold’s influence went far beyond his local circle. As a result of his kindness and positivity, he was relied on by many people when times were tough. In the wake of this terrible catastrophe, we must also keep in mind the truck driver, aged 46, who suffered life-threatening injuries.
