Eimir Martin Obituary, Death – We were left speechless and in utter disbelief when we learned of Eimir Martin’s untimely passing early this morning, and our thoughts and prayers are with those who were closest to him.
She was a previous player for both our county and her club, Lisnaskea Emmetts, and she was incredibly talented. Eimir was the beloved sister of the referee for our county, Ane, and she was also a referee herself.
A long time ago, Eimir left this world. She continued to be a loyal lover of everything that had to do with Gaelic culture even after her illness brought an early end to her playing career. This was despite the fact that her illness brought an untimely end to her playing career. She faced her challenge with dignity and fortitude, and she did not allow it to prevent her from pursuing a career as a midwife in the SWAH region.
A part in which she excelled to a remarkable degree. We would like for her cherished family to know that they have our thoughts and prayers, as well as our love and support, during this difficult time. This includes her adorably cute nephews Oliver and Adam, as well as her friends and the club she belongs to. Her parents, Vincent and Geraldine, her sister Anne, and her brothers Tony and Brian are all included in this group.
Everyone associated with the Fermanagh Ladies Gaelic Football Association will be thinking about and praying for the Martin family during this trying time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Her tenacious fight was at last over after what seemed like an eternity. The phrase “Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam x” is the toast.
