Donald Rae Obituary, Death- We are deeply saddened to notify you of the demise of Donald James Rae on October 28, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He’d already lived for 67 years. He has fought frontotemporal dementia valiantly for many years and is now prepared to go on to the next chapter of his life. Don’s faithful wife June, who stuck by him through thick and thin, is all that remains of him. The only people who will remember him when he’s gone are his devoted daughter Stephanie, his loving son-in-law Devin Closson, and his grandchildren Jaxon and Sophia.
Don’s son James also has plenty of great stories about his father to tell. Don was ecstatic to be a family man who could provide for his wife, kids, and grandkids. That made him feel really good about himself. Unconditional affection, advice, and help for those closest to him were the hallmarks of his existence. Don had a deep and abiding love for the Audio Warehouse and its countless devoted patrons. The profound connection that Don has always had to the company will go on as long as it is maintained by his children and the rest of the Audio Warehouse family.
Donald James Rae was a one-of-a-kind individual who was extraordinary in every possible respect. A lasting impact was left on everyone he met by his boundless kindness and compassion. His death has left a huge void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the stories they tell, the songs they sing, the automobiles they drive, and the acts of kindness they see. The memorial service for Don will be held at Audio Warehouse, 1329 Lorne Street, from noon to 3 o’clock on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

Don’s life would be best commemorated if all of his friends and acquaintances got together, reminisced about the good old days, and took turns sharing their favorite stories about him. The family of Don has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to a charity of your choosing in his honour. Don’s legacy will endure through the people he impacted and the affection they felt from those he left behind.
