David Fish Death, Obituary – David Fish is a devoted partner, and he and Jennifer Barbour have been married for the past eighty-five years. He and his wife have made their home in Belle Plaine, Iowa, for the time being. They have spent each and every one of their 59 years of marriage alongside one another. Fish, despite his heroic efforts, was unable to beat cancer on July 15, 2023, and he passed away shortly afterward.
He had been fighting the disease for a long time. He was the brother of George Henry (Lil) Fish of Utah and the son of Eleanor Birdsall and Eugene Fish, both of whom have now passed away. He is the only surviving member of his immediate family. Both of his parents have crossed over to the other side. George Henry Fish was the given name bestowed upon him by his mother and father.
On August 20th, 1937, he came into the world in the borough of Queens, which is found inside the state of New York. Dave is survived by his daughter, Barbara Fish Smith (Richard) of Brewster MA; his son, Christopher Fish (Janine) of Milford CT; his grandchildren Erin (Quinn) Hogue of Newtown CT, Bradley Fish of Burlington VT; Vayda and Victor Smith of Brewster MA; step-grandchildren Logan and Connor Stafford of Milford CT; and his sister in law, Eleanor Barbour (Paula) of Brooklyn Heights NY and Brewster MA.
Dave comes from a large family that includes not only devoted friends but also a considerable number of nieces and nephews as well. Dave has a lot of nieces and nephews. A private ceremony will be held for the burial, and in September, a memorial service commemorating the departed will take the shape of a celebration of the deceased’s life. May he continue to rest in peace.
