Arlo Averett Obituary, Death – Arlo James Averett, who was only 24 years old, went away unexpectedly early on Sunday morning, October 29. Powell, Wyoming was the location of his birth on March 17, 1999. His parents, James and Kelly Averett, both hail from Greybull, Wyoming. Arlo spent his whole childhood in Greybull, where he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed activities such as hunting, shooting, hiking, and camping. His entire lifelong goal was to serve in the military, but circumstances prevented him from doing so.
Clayton Dragoo, who had spotted him, took him under his wing and educated him in the ways of the funeral director profession. Because Clayton was aware that Arlo had a strong desire to be of service to others, he assisted Arlo in obtaining the necessary education to become an EMT.
After some time, he started working in the construction industry with McGarvin-Moberly. In January 2021, he met the woman who would become the love of his life, Ashley Mayer, who was also from Greybull. The following year, on January 13, 2023, they welcomed a lovely daughter into the world named Harlow Lynn Augustine Averett. The arrival of Harlow was the best present he had ever received.
He is survived by his daughter Harlow, his girlfriend Ashley Mayer, his parents James and Kelly Averett, his sisters Kalynn Patton of Casper, Wyoming and Jamie Averett of Greybull, a niece and two nephews, his maternal grandparents Jim and Laurel Ryles of Greybull, and a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Harlow is the only child he leaves behind. His parents and sisters live in Wyoming. His maternal grandparents, several of his cousins, and the person he had known his whole life and considered his best friend, Jake Harold, passed away before him.
