Amanda Truitt Obituary, Death – On October 26, 2023, 42-year-old Mandy Truitt died in Youngstown, Ohio. Born July 1, 1981, in Youngstown, Ohio. Gethsemane Lutheran baptized Mandy on July 19, 1981. Mandy gained skills and lifetime friends at Western Reserve High School. Mandy loved Gethsemane Lutheran. She found solace, advice, and fellowship. Her parents Dennis E. and Beverly A. Truitt married at her baptismal church. Her parents chose Larry and Linda Truitt as godparents.
Amanda was caring. She sympathized with disabled people. She enjoyed Truitt and Kale themed memories and experiences. She lived for love—hers and others. Father Dennis E. Truitt instructed her, “You will catch more bees with honey, than vinegar.” People will always remember these remarks. Amanda enjoyed simple pleasures. She watched Ohio State Football after loving “The Peanuts” Snoopy. Sitting on the balcony, soaking in the rural air, and watching Candy and Casey run was her favorite pastime.
One day of her life. Preparing Truitt and Kale farm horses for the Canfield fair required most of the year. This reflects her passion for farming, animals, and her proud community. The community loved Mandy’s warm, bright personality. She adored and was good at Masco crafts. Her painting gave others joy and will be remembered.
Mandy is survived by her mother, Beverly K. Truitt, her sisters, Denise J. Bucher and Robin S. Adams (Steven J. Adams), her brother Matthew J. Truitt (Shannon R. Truitt), her godparents, Larry and Linda Truitt, her nephews Zachary F. Adams (Shana M. Adams), Samuel D. Adams, and Hayden M. Truitt, and her nieces, Savannah M. Bucher
