Alastair Stirling Obituary, Death- On November 7th, 2023, Alastair Stirling, who had lived a full life and reached the age of 77, died peacefully at home, surrounded by members of his devoted family. We broke the news of his passing to you with a heavy heart because we were close to him. In addition to being a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Alastair was also a beloved member of the family in the roles of father-in-law and father to his wife’s children.
He was also a close friend to a large number of individuals, and he left an indelible impact on all of those who had the good fortune to cross paths with him during his lifetime. The love and respect that Alastair had for his cherished children, Jacqueline, Lorraine, and Scott, will ensure that the memory of their father will live on in their hearts forever. His legacy endures down the ages as a cherished grandfather, great grandfather, and everyone in between and after them.
Those who were closest to Alastair were able to draw strength and solace from his friendly manner as well as his unshakable support in the roles of father-in-law, brother, and uncle. On the 21st of November, 2023, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, a memorial service commemorating the life of Alastair will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery.
The family of this lovely person extends a sincere invitation to all of their friends and neighbors to join them in paying their respects and saying their goodbyes to this wonderful person. It would be greatly appreciated by the family if, in lieu of sending flowers, donations could be made on the day of the funeral to Strathcarron Hospice to support the ongoing work that is being done there. Alastair attached a great deal of significance to this particular causation.
