Adonnis McQueen Obituary, Death – An investigation into a fatal shooting is currently being carried out by the Birmingham Police Department in Alabama. The incident took place on the 11th of November, 2023, on a Saturday.
Adonnis Xavier Bishop McQueen, age 17 and gender unknown was identified as the victim. He was a resident of Birmingham, Alabama.
Officers from the East Precinct were sent to the 400 Block of Cheri Lane in response to a call about a person who had fallen there at 9:11 p.m. When the officers arrived, they saw the victim lying on the street unresponsive and then saw that the victim was unresponsive. Officers found evidence of a gunshot wound on the victim. When authorities from Birmingham Fire & Rescue arrived at the site, they determined that the victim had already passed away.
The preliminary investigation has found that the victim is thought to have been shot in the 400 Block of Cheri Lane; investigators observed expended round casings at the scene. The location of the shooting is believed to have occurred in the middle of the night.
The victim resides in the neighborhood, which is believed to be the location where he was shot. There is currently no one being held in custody.
